Locked On SEC – Daily College Football & Basketball Podcast

We continue with more of our interviews from SEC Media Days, including LSU WR Chris Hilton Jr as he reveals LSU's explosive receiver potential and his comeback journey.  The Tigers' WR room is stacked with talent, including transfers like Nic Anderson who set freshman TD records at Oklahoma. Hilton believes their offense will be explosive, with everyone from seniors to freshmen able to make plays. What do you think - does LSU have the best WR corps in the SEC this year?

We also sit down with Vanderbilt LB Randon Fontenette who gives us the inside scoop on the Commodores' defense. They're coming off a surprising 6-6 season and aiming higher. Fontenette's pick-six against Alabama was his first career INT. The defense is focusing on communication to avoid "cheap touchdowns" this year. With key players returning, how many wins do you think Vandy can secure in 2023?

And South Carolina DT Nick Barrett is ready for a breakout year. He redshirted last season but used the time to learn from veterans like Tonka Hemingway. Barrett's excited about the D-line's potential and the secondary's talent. He also praised QB Spencer Rattler's continued improvement. As a 76 overall in NCAA Football, Barrett's motivated to boost his rating. How many sacks do you predict for him this season?

Tune in for candid conversations with these rising SEC talents as they prepare for a pivotal college football season.
