In a poor effort by the Arizona State Sun Devils, they suffered a loss to the Washington State Cougars by a score of 51-29. No that is not a typo, the Sun Devils failed to score 30 points, while only scoring 10 in the first half. There are a lot of numbers to break down, none of them are particularly flattering. Herm Edwards has been announced as the head coach for the 2022 season. Did they have another choice or was this the only realistic option? In positive news, the Sun Devils get Jermayne Lole back on a defense that will be missing play makers and leaders. Lole missed all of 2021 after suffering a Tricep injury, but has a chance to make a huge impact in 2022.

The battle for Atlantis tournament left ASU with more questions than answers as they left 0 - 3. They lost games against Baylor, Syracuse, and Loyola. There is no feeling more satisfying than beating that little brother school down south. This win makes 5 straight victories against the Wildcats, which hasn't happened since 1969. It will be difficult for this football team to outperform last year's 70-7 performance, but we discuss the weight this game carries to the overall standings in the ASU vs UofA matchup.

After a close loss to SDSU the Sun Devils now sit at 2-2 on the season. Could it be too soon to decide how this season will perform long term? Probably! However this team doesn't seem to have what it takes to be competitive in the PAC-12 and conference play hasn't even started. You can't lose a game on one play, so we talk about several missed opportunities this team missed in their narrow loss. Lastly, we get Richie's opinion on Herm and should he stay or should he go?

It is NOT a victory Monday edition of the podcast, so instead we discuss much of what went wrong for this Sun Devils team in what felt like a game that was out of reach early on. Who is to blame for this loss? In my opinion it has much to do with what has plagued this team throughout the entire season. There is only one game left in the season and the offensive line doesn't know what the snap count is. They had seven penalties due to false starts. Seven. We break down this and much much more!

It's Friday on the Locked on Sun Devils podcast which means we discuss the overall offense and defensive stats. The Beavers have had a solid offense this season behind B.J. Baylor on the ground and he will be the focal point. The defense however has been more vulnerable which is a great opportunity for Rachaad White and the rest of the offense. Lastly, we discuss the betting lines and our bold predictions.
