Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans

The NFL Draft is just around the corner for the Tennessee Titans. The focus has been on what they will do with their first pick at 26, but what if the Titans don't pick at 26? First, Tyler looks at a scenario where the Titans move up for a specific target! Is the player worth trading? What draft ammo will the Titans have remaining if they do? What would the rest of the draft class look like? Next, what if the Titans decided to move back from 26! Is the drop off in talent too much? What would compensation look like? Tyler looks at the options. Finally, what is the Titans stayed at 26, but moved up into the mid-rounds? Is there a player in that range worth a trade up? What would terms look like? Can a good enough draft class be made with a trade up? Tyler attempts to answer those questions.

The season may be months away, but who is the Tennessee Titans X Factor in 2022? Tyler thinks he already knows. Caleb Farley will need to play a major role on the defense and comments from head coach Mike Vrabel & GM Jon Robinson indicate they know that as well. Tyler goes through Farley's early career and what's causing excitement now. Next, the draft is less than two weeks away and the Titans have been busy with visits, but who have they visited with so far? Tyler goes over the current lists and looks for trends and information. Finally, the debate wages on whether the Titans should consider a quarterback in the first round. Whoever it is that you like, would you be ok with the Titans taking them in the right situation? Tyler goes over the pros and cons and explains that if the draft goes a certain way, QB makes too much sense.

Tight End is a position the Tennessee Titans desperately needed to improve going into 2022. They made some improvements by bringing in Austin Hooper, but the draft is still the next stop towards fixing the TE room. Lucky for the Titans, the tight end group in 2022 is loaded with solid options all over the board. The top names on the board can most likely be had in the second round. The mid tier should be right in the wheel house for some traditional Y tight ends. On Day 3, there are still a ton of different specialist who could make an impact. Which names make the most sense and where will they be available? Tyler goes over 13 different options with different values!

The Tennessee Titans were in the news on Thursday for all the wrong reasons. Former Titans defensive coordinator Ray Horton joined the racial discrimination lawsuit started by former Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores and in the process accused the Titans of improper hiring procedures in 2016. Horton's allegations were supported by former Titans coach Mike Mularkey based on comments Mularkey made in 2020. What did Horton say? What did Mularkey say? What does this all mean? Tyler navigates the murky waters. Then, two draft experts who typically have a good read on the Titans are both forecasting a particular prospect to them in the first round. Who is it and would it be a good fit? Tyler goes over the information. Finally, Mike Vrabel shared his thoughts on the AJ Brown trade rumors and it went about how you would expect. Tyler reviews the comment and also looks at interesting developments in the wide receiver contract market.

The Tennessee Titans have been doing their homework on the quarterbacks at the top of the draft this year. Could they be in the market for one or even trade up to select them? If they did, who would be the best fit? Tyler breaks down his top five quarterbacks in the draft and talks about what they bring to the table! Also, Tyler explains why a couple options make more sense than others. Later, the Titans could be interested in a potential mid to late round QB as a back up, but should they? Tyler explains why drafting a QB outside of the first round is a waste of a pick.

The Tennessee Titans star wide receiver AJ Brown has been in the headlines lately and for a nonsensical reason! Despite the thirst of opposing teams, according to reports on Tuesday, AJ Brown will NOT be traded and isn't even on the market. AS WE ALL EXPECTED. Still was nice to see it officially put into the air though. Tyler discusses the liberating report and why he is glad this conversation can finally end. Looking forward though, what kind of contract will the Titans give AJ Brown to keep him in Nashville? Tyler takes a look at the market and crafts the expected deal. Finally, the Titans received two compensatory picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, so how did they get them and how many will they get in 2023? Tyler goes over what has happened so far and how it indicates the Titans will get zero comp picks next year!

The Tennessee Titans have a ton of options in the draft, but they would have even more if they had the first overall pick in the NFL Draft!! Who would the Titans select if so? Tyler goes through all the options. Also, there has been a ton of talk about the top five WRs in this year's draft, but what about the second tier? Which Day 2 wide receiver makes the most sense for the Titans! Finally, if you could bring back any past Titan to be on this year's team, who would it be? Tyler gives his answer!
