Host Howard Megdal has everything you need to know about Team Clark and Team Collier for the 2025 WNBA All Star Game. But first: an extended look at why and how the starters fit together, how and why each backup makes sense on each team, with a healthy dose of context. Every extreme statement about who was left off the team and more critically, the leap to assuming bad faith intentions around it shares no shred of commonality with the reality of how this all works. It's been a gloriously successful season for the Atlanta Dream so far by any measure, but much of the recent chatter surrounds an honor not given to the Dream's own Bri Jones. Host Howard Megdal is joined by The Next's Dream beat reporter, Wilton Jackson II, to discuss all the progress and remaining questions around Karl Smesko's Atlanta Dream. The two marvel at Allisha Gray's efficiency, spotlight Jordin Canada's importance and much more. Plus, hear Megdal on the Golden State Valkyries and Jackie Powell, love from Brooklyn, catching up with Breanna Stewart and Kennedy Burke. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The WNBA is as competitive as ever, and host Howard Megdal brings you the numbers behind the drama. Then, several larger conversations are debunked. First, the idea that the WNBA wasn't ready from a business side for Caitlin Clark's debut in 2024. Then, what we know and don't about the league's CBA negotiations. Finally, a look at what we'll learn in the week ahead.

Kahleah Copper's growth as a shooter and Courtney Williams' rise into a true point guard are two of the WNBA's best developmental stories in recent history. Today, host Emily Adler and co-host Lincoln Shafer revisit Copper and Williams' college film to understand if these developmental arcs were promising at the time, and why they were undervalued as draft prospects.

Host Jackie Powell is joined by Steve Jones Jr. of The Dunker Spot Podcast to predict who will be named a 2025 WNBA All-Star reserve when the results are announced this Sunday at noon et. A disclaimer: these 12 players are selected by all of the WNBA’s head coaches. Jackie and Steve discuss their locks including Skylar Diggins, Kelsey Mitchell, Kelsey Plum, Angel Reese and more. Later the pair runs through the players who have cases but certain factors like injuries and team performance might get in the way of their candidacy. For instance willl Jonquel Jones get snubbed especially after how much the Liberty have felt her absence? Will Rhyne Howard be healthy enough if she’s selected? Which Lynx player joins Napheesa Collier on one of the All-Star teams? Kayla McBride or Alanna Smith? And which players might not be recognized due to inconsistencies in performance or a lack of winning?
