Sorry for the delay in getting this out to you.  We are all fine but Covid protocols got in the way of recording.  In this episode, our Diocesan Director of Youth and Adult Ministry and Locust and Wild Honey's Audio Editor Ricky Costa join Fr. Dave and me to discuss the blockbuster Marvel film, "Spiderman, No Way Home."  Enjoy.  

This is normally the place where we tell you all the better ways you can use your time than listen to us.  This time though, we would like to thank everyone for their support, ideas, and encouragement.  We are privileged to be able to have fun and talk about Jesus, who gives us all our center, our purpose, and our meaning.  Have a very holy and Blessed Christmas!  (and now, for your sake listen to something else).  

During the last week of Advent, we concluded our discussion of John the Baptist, Mary, and Joseph, in the midst of an outreach center that used to be a chapel.  Fr. Dave and toys are not a good mix for an adult discussion.  

Before exploring the people we meet in the Christmas story, Fr. Dave and Rich compare their favorite Christmas songs.  The conversation quickly goes downhill right after that.

We all like Christmas lights, but maybe not as much as Fr. Dave.  And this is brilliantly worked into the 2nd week of Advent.  (And when we say brilliantly we really mean accidentally).

As we try to present a coherent thought about the 1st week of Advent at 1:30 am, Costa becomes distracted and Fr. Dave brings him back in and lands the plane.
