In this episode I talked about my stay in Tajik Autonomous County (a super fun experience). We visited Tajik and Uyghur people's homes (their yards are spectacular lol), saw a wild fox running in the desert beside the highway, and marmots tanning. <3

I also talked about what Foucault thought of modern prisons and panopticism. Oh, and Kelsen's idea of the true meaning of "separation of powers" and how the American and European political system (the overlapping powers) contradicted with Kelsen's belief.

Today I talked about Chinese religious policy...

and I am not a fan of politics....

But again, CNN may be fooling you since the chance that average Americans will go to China is extrememly low...

Chinese religious policy is just NORMAL, like any other countries' policies. 

Remember China is a fully secular country, so comparing it to France, pls...yall see the difference.

In general, I think Chinese religious policy is non-discriminating. Younger generations of Chinese don't care about religions and we respect the differences and are interested in knowing your identities. As for some older people, it's the same situation in every country.

It's upset to know and see how people nowadays were ignoring or simply just not acknowledging how glorious and important this time period was to our humankind. 

Furthermore, this is an era where a person could be RELIGIOUS, A SCIENTIST, AND AN ARTIST AT THE SAME TIME! This period demonstrates a perfect relationship between faith and science. How could people later overemphasizing their differences and dismiss their combination and cooperation? They do not have to contradict with each other. The point is that one has to find the balance.
