In this "Shoot from the hip" episode, I invite a surprising number of guests to talk about some uncomfortable subjects.  We go in on certain situations in love and dating and get the perspective of both men and women on it.  This is full of awkward moments and nervous giggles.....we go in!!! Including my "This or That" segment where I ask each guest my own curious relationship questions! Be prepared to cringe for a full hour...I hope you find it as entertaining as I did....

We the black minority....what are we demanding from our leadership? DO WE HAVE A "WHY".  The Kid and Rose both breakdown some pretty interesting points of view and a lot of this podcast was about digging on issues we usually have surface conversations about.  Many may not agree, many may take issue with what was said in here but all of it is the OPINION of whoever is speaking.  Outraged, entertained, angered, or surprised I invite you all to listen in, and please share your thoughts.

In this very special episode "The Kid" interviews Superwoman Mirna Paritda.  Mirna is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, who would go on to obtaining two master's degrees and is now in her second year of a doctoral program.  She shares her stories of balancing serving in the military, achieving higher levels of education, all while being a single mom and sooo much more. This episode of Sipping Slow With Joe was a long time coming.  I am mad at myself as I go back and listen to it that I didn't get a chance to get to all the history of a very dynamic woman.  I believe Myisha's story will help shed more light on the huge disparity in the education system between the city of Baltimore and the county. Though I playfully refer to Myisha as "the devil" several times during the podcast, my respect for her work ethic and ability to adapt to any environment is just a couple of reasons that make her a great leader.
