Hambone heard that his mother was gonna buy him a mockingbird but sadly didn’t foresee that the mockingbird wasn’t going to sing so in return Hambone’s mother bought herself a diamond ring and now with hindsight it’s easier to see that the ring wasn’t going to “shine” because all along there was a plot for a bottle of wine that she drank in the bathroom of the laundry mat telling stories of basement humor.
