It’s October 12, 2026. It’s late at night, and I have a story in my head that I can’t stop thinking about.
A guy from Tamil Nadu travels to Mumbai for work. Instead of spending his time in a hotel, he decides to go on a spontaneous trek to Harishchandragad, somewhere he discovered through Instagram. What follows is a journey through the monsoon landscapes of Maharashtra, unfamiliar places, language barriers, unexpected friendships, and strangers who help him find his way back.
But this isn’t just a story about trekking.
It’s about the little detours life offers us, the loneliness we carry, the balance between work and living, and the unexpected connections we make when we step outside our routines.
I don't know when or how I'll make this film. I know it will take a script, a team, a budget, and a lot of work. But tonight, I want to start by talking about it.
Maybe someday, I'll come back to this recording and remember where it all began.
Just a late-night thought from someone who wants to make films.
Guitar Vaangitten… Ippo Enna Panradhu?
23-year-old me decided to learn something completely new guitar.
I don’t know music theory. I don’t know how to play properly. I’m just starting from zero and figuring it out one chord, one song, and probably one sore finger at a time.
This is basically me documenting the journey of learning guitar at 23 the excitement, the awkward beginner phase, the small wins, and whatever happens along the way.
Welcome to another one of my Lokey Thoughts.

The fear of becoming an ordinary person.
A normal job. A normal life. Normal routines. Nothing particularly remarkable.
But why does “ordinary” scare us so much?
In this episode of Lokey Thoughts, I talk about the pressure to become someone extraordinary, the fear of wasting your potential, and the irony of worrying about having an ordinary life while recording an ordinary podcast.
Maybe being ordinary was never the problem.
Maybe the problem is living a life that doesn't feel like yours.
A fun rant episode on existing… sorry I don’t know to live
Do you ever feel like you are just acting out a script written by someone else?In this video, we dive deep into Imtiaz Ali’s masterpiece, Tamasha. After watching a recent interview with the director, I revisited this beautiful film and realized just how deeply it connects with anyone who has ever felt trapped in the corporate 9-to-5 rat race.We break down the character of Ved (Ranbir Kapoor), his internal struggle between being a passionate storyteller and a "decent" Product Manager, and why trying to fit into society's expectations can slowly kill your inner spark. Whether you are an artist, a dreamer, or just someone trying to figure out life, this movie has a message for you.🎬 What We Cover in This Video:The Inspiration: Thoughts on Imtiaz Ali's interview and why Tamasha makes people want to quit their jobs. The Corporate Trap: My personal connection to Ved and starting a 9-to-5 life at an early age.The Danger of Being "Decent": How trying to be obedient and predictable destroys our true identity.Inner Rockstar vs. Outer Reality: Breaking down the beautiful auto-rickshaw driver scene.Writing Your Own Story: Why you need to stop predicting your life and start actually living it.
In this episode, I reflect on ideas around freedom, fear, intelligence, conditioning, education, and self-understanding inspired by J. Krishnamurti.
What does it actually mean to be free?
Is independence the same as freedom?
Why does fear limit intelligence?
And why are we constantly trying to become somebody else?
This episode explores:
Freedom vs independence
Fear and psychological conditioning
Understanding yourself
Intelligence without comparison
Education and social pressure
The influence of parents, society, and tradition
Rather than giving conclusions, this is a reflective conversation exploring how awareness and self-understanding may be the beginning of true freedom.
If you enjoy philosophical reflections, deep thinking, psychology, and self-inquiry, this episode is for you.
வெண்ணிற இரவுகள் ... நானும்.
A reflective episode on revisiting White Nights by Fyodor Dostoevsky and seeing it through a different lens.
This time, it is not just about a lonely dreamer meeting someone for a few fleeting nights. It becomes a deeper exploration of emotional attachment, imagined love, and the quiet gap between reality and the stories we build in our heads.
The episode unpacks:
If you have ever felt deeply for someone in a short moment, or lived more in your thoughts than in reality, this conversation will resonate.
A personal, introspective take on a timeless story.
When nothing is stopping you… why don’t you move?
This episode explores the hidden weight of freedom — how having no excuses creates pressure, and how self-awareness removes the ability to blame anything outside ourselves.
From fear of failure to fear of potential, this is a reflection on why we hesitate… even when we are free.
