Guilt is when we have done something wrong to someone or even to yourself and you feel bad.  Guilt compels you to apologize, "I am sorry for what I did, I was wrong."  SHAME is dangerous because you believe that you are the wrong, the ugly, the unworthy.  It is a harming thing!  What are you ashamed of?  Why?  Have you ever thought of healing those scars?  Are you aware of them?  I am not a counselor or therapist.  I am a woman who is and has traveled down so many roads that I have learned to spot my brokenness and it is the stuff that prevents us all from Living Out Loud!

The title for the season is lifted from the movie, "Claudine", the song sung by Gladys Knight and originally sung by Curtis Mayfield, is poetic and begs the question - What is the making of us? The song reminds me of "Us" beautiful women not quite aware of who beautiful we are.  Not understanding that EVERY experience is what has made us who we are-God gives us beauty for our ashes. We are going deeper this season in the safe space of LOL; LIVING OUT LOUD, in order to be boldly who we are.  Remember to grab your Girls, a Drink, and your journal.
