Wedding bells are chiming later this August, so LHMC brings you a full episode dedicated to Wedding Horror. Over 15 movies with bloody brides, ghostly grooms, weird weddings, and even a horrific honeymoon...all for your horror delight. We have films from Spain, Thailand, Italy, Britain, the US, and more, so we really have gone all over for you this month to bring you some nuptual nasties. Grab a piece of wedding cake, your trusty chainsaw, and enjoy!

Before James Gunn was off to Marvel and Elizabeth Banks was producing "Cocaine Bear"; and just after Nathan Fillion was in "Serenity" there was SLITHER. Guest Tony Mardon suggested it as a film to watch and we dive into the squirmy worms, the homages, remarkable practical effects, and why this B-movie remix somehow tanked at the box office but now has a cult revival.

Take a walk on the "Wilde" side with us this month with our remarkable guest, Barbie Wilde. Known best as the female cenobite from "Hellraiser II", she has also appeared in Death Wish 3, Grizzly II, and several music videos (including her own as part of SHOCK and one with UltraVox). We talk horror we grew up with, puttin gon all that SFX makeup, stories on the indie film sets, and her new career as a writer of erotic and stunning body horror. It's a bloody good time.

With us this month is Andre Hepburn, the writer, co-director, and producer of "Bad Voodoo" an indie horror that combines the home invasion with Haitian voodoo traditions. Some of the stories are inspired by real experiences from his grandmother, so we have a lot of wild and interesting things to talk about, as well as the usual dive into making indie films, horror movies we love, and stories and advice from the set.

He ran a video shop showing banned films in the back, was a recurring extra in "Dr Who", made his own horror film for next to nothing, and now owns the Lumiere cinema in Romford - one of the few successful cinemas - while hosting the Romford Horror Festival and Romford Film Festival, which has boasted Oscar-shortlisted films. When it comes to film, there's little that Spencer Hawken hasn't done, and Chris and I got to ask all about it.

Actor, director, and writer Ben Horsfall is the heart behind Seven Horses Films and their jarring and emotional horror "The Body is Watching Me". Join us for a chat about everything from advice for first-time filmmakers, how he picked his locations, and the horror films we all loved to watch behind our parents' backs (and sometimes with them!)

Jay is back and he's done a lot in the last couple years - from vagina aliens in "Video Shop Tales of Terror II" to award-winning face rips for "The Domestication of Vampires in Essex" and greusome appliances in "Darner" we have lots of fun things to talk about, as well as dipping into movies out now with good mix of CGI and practicle effects and the new He-Man movie. Tim Dry joins us this month, a man of many well-known faces, though thanks to special effects and make-up you may not immediately recognise HIS face - but you will certainly know him as J'Quille in RETURN OF THE JEDI, the alien in cult-british horror XTRO, the bisop's assistant in an infamous episode of "Father Ted" or as one half of performance and music duo "Tick & Tock" (who were part of the Royal Variety show and toured with Gary Numan!). We talk about filming in a bodysuit in the freezing cold, Star Wars conventions, how David Bowie started his career, being at the heart of a conspiracy theory, and his (many) favourite movies.

Whether you realise it or not, you know Mick Strawn's work. He's the man behind the famous Blood Rave in "Blade", worked on "Texas Chainsaw Massacre III: Leatherface" "Nightmare on Elm Street" 3 and 4, "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" (movie, not tv show) and even "Candyman". Production Designer, Art Director, Special Effects Technician; he is the man who literally crafted our horror nightmare. And he has a new movie out that he co-directed and co-wrote.
