This week we chat with Kara Rijnen, co-owner of the zero waste shop Reimagine Co.!
Kara has been living the zero-waste life for the past three years and started Reimagine Co. with her husband Heenal Rajani as just a 3-month pop-up to bring reusable items to the city. Obviously, Reimagine Co. has grown into so much more, hosting zero waste workshops, repair cafés, festivals and more to educate London on the use of single-use plastics, environmental issues and everything in-between.
Recently, the shop has moved to a new location at 206 Piccadilly Street to be able to offer even more with its refill station and new products! Reimagine Co. has also taken on the challenge of opening London's first zero-waste grocery store, already beating its crowdfunding goal! They have included a stretch goal now that will help them purchase some fun extras at the store!
Every dollar you donate now, you will be able to use that towards your groceries once the store opens, so it's a win-win!
