Long Distance BFFs

After taking a short break from recording, the BFFs are back at it to do a bit of catch up and discuss what they’ve each been reading, watching, buying, etc! Prepare to take some mental notes of all the recommendations and plant names (lol).

The BFFs invite their BFs to talk about how each couple met (hint: someone slid into the DMs) and what it's been like quarantining with one another. Everyone gets the hot seat as well as they answer some juicy q's about their partners and from couple to couple! Grab your tea or "go to drink" (to be discussed hehe) and hear all the juice in the first of this two-part episode!

Based on an instagram poll, listeners chose to hear more about the BFFs’ “personality types” based on the Myers Briggs test. They each go into their results from the test and explain how freakishly on point it’s been in their experience. This also helps them understand why/how they get along so well and how it could be helpful to others!

Mabuhay! The BFFs explore their Filipino roots in this one and compare their personal traditions and upbringings - Patty actually having been born and raised in the Philippines and Kim being just half Filipino, born and raised in the U.S., but also quite in touch with that side of her heritage. They’ll describe what their native areas within the Philippines look like, are known for, and the food they love from each place. Try not to drool while listening!

Kim has been experiencing more memorable and vivid dreams since the start of this “self-quarantine” situation and wants to share more about it. Patty’s along for the ride to “dreamland” and has some to contribute herself. It seems obvious now that many of us are encountering the same thing with all these sort of stranger dreams and the BFFs thought it’d be fun to explore that in this episode.

We promised you two different perspectives on career and education - so here it is! At least, these are two very different experiences so far between the BFFs. Both are currently the same age and from the same place, but went down totally contrasting routes following high school. They explain some of their decisions on further schooling, first occupations, and just adjusting to “the real world” or the transition to adulthood.

The first full length episode is here!! The BFFs now dive deeper into, well, the BFFs! Both Patty and Kim each give a mini self introduction and go on to explain how they became the best friends they are to one another. You’ll hear of some fond memories and pivotal moments in the friendship and get to know them on a bit of a deeper level overall.

This is the ’Pilot’ episode - gah! Welcome, Willkommen to the Long Distance BFFs Podcast! This long distance best friendship between Patty & Kim was supposed to be temporary, but life had other plans for them so here they are, podcasting while living across the world from each other. In this episode, they (awkwardly) introduce themselves, try to find their "podcasting voices," and share reasons why they wanted to start this thing.
