  • It's Market Day 2

    It’s Market Day.

    (Sunday November 3rd 2019)

Just a few finds and things we liked at the market.

Alana’s Coffee to start along with clear skies making way for the heat to beam down on those old and new to the market. Always lively, starting with coffee is our way of easing into the gloriousness of the pleasant hustle and bustle that is “Market Day”.

This week’s market day, at Mar Vista’s Farmers Market, every Sunday from 9am til 2pm at GrandView and Venice Blvd, was the last week for Tenerilli Farms. Their season is over so we made sure we we grabbed a few Arctic Mist White Nectarines. They will be back next year, with a wonderful cache of apricots and cherries.

Coming fresh off of Halloween and continuing to celebrate the Day of the Dead, Mariachi Romanza was called to help celebrate with a parade!

We also stopped by ZoZo’s Fresh Juice. Great picks: The Watermelon and Orange Juices. As they put it “Rejuvenation in a Cup”!

Thanks and See you at the next market day!

    It’s Market Day

    (Sunday October 27th 2019)

Just a few finds and things we liked at the market.

Alana’s Coffee to start along with a great temperature day. The clouds seemed to be a welcomed guest of some.

This week’s market day, at Mar Vista’s Farmers Market, every Sunday from 9am til 2pm at GrandView and Venice Blvd, we grabbed Autumn Flame peaches from Tenerilli Farms and some Fingerling Potatoes from Weiser Family Farms. Great for roasting or finish off with a bit of olive oil, these fingerling potatoes are great and some have this wonderful purple colour inside. As for the peaches, well, They are great freshly cut!

“The first Mar Vista Market took place August 6, 2006. The goal was to bring fresh produce directly from California farmers to the community. Now, over a decade later, the Mar Vista Market is one of the most popular farmers’ markets in the Los Angeles area, attracting thousands of buyers and visitors each week.” - marvistafarmersmarket.org

See you at the next market day!
