Steve Kilbey and the Church have been a staple in not just Oz Rock, but certainly impacting music around the world. I spoke with Steve last year prior to his 2022 tour. 

This was a conversation that started going horribly wrong but ended up as one of the best interviews I have done. It was every interviewers nightmare, the moment Steve told me that he wish he had never written one of the biggest songs of his career. I managed to secure an interview with Journey’s Neal Schon. Of course besides guitarist and songwriter for one of the most well known bands of the 80’s Neal was also guitarist for big names like Santana, Hardline and Bad English. As a session guitarist he has worked with Rock royalty, Sammy Hagar, Joe Cocker, Jimmy Barnes and The Allman Brothers.

He was chatting about his latest Journey album Freedom, and I was explicitly asked not to ask any questions about the most most famous journey song, Don’t Stop Believing. I think I may have slipped it in during conversation. This is Long Way to the Top with Journey’s Neal Schon.

March last year I had the chance to chat with the legendary Leo Sayer on The Bad Boys Podcast about his new album Northern Songs.
