Jude Thomas and Kelleigh Miller were looking forward to a long day when they chose to the Maze (also known as Ice Cube) canyon in Red Rocks conservation area near Las Vegas NV. Their day turned out way longer than they had anticipated when they encountered some navigational issues on the approach. They decided to drop into the canyon anyway because they were hopeful, they if they needed to, they could climb out at the sneak route. That was not possible, and they had to continue down canyon finishing the coldest, darkest section after the sun went down. We talk about what went wrong and what they did right, as well as what they might do different next time.
