Hola Hola! We are back with Season 2: Episode 4 of Conversaciones con Colegas. In this episode we bring you a charla with Massiel Zaragoza, an author and educator passionate about authentic bilingual/multicultural literature, biliteracy development and the sustainability of dual language programs past the primary level. She is a bilingual education teacher with over 15 years of experience and has a B.A. in Spanish and a Master of Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction, also from UIC.

Our hope and vision for our podcast is to elevate the voices and needs of educators and students, especially those voices which are often silenced or overlooked.  Massiel’s work aligns with LatinXChange through advocacy as she strives to bring awareness for the lack of research behind the sustainability of secondary dual language programs.
