In Episode 38 of the Longshot Podcast, Tyler sits down with Gavin Jeske, a 20-year-old Marine Corps Reservist with a bold desire to make his entire life point people toward Jesus Christ.

Gavin shares his testimony, what it looks like to live out his faith in the military, and how God has called him to minister to the Marines around him. He also discusses his plans to transition into the Navy as a Religious Program Specialist and ultimately pursue his calling to become a Navy chaplain.

At the heart of the conversation is Gavin’s desire to be both a warrior for Christ and a gardener for Christ—having the courage to stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word while also patiently planting seeds, discipling others, and cultivating spiritual growth.

What does it mean to stand firm without treating people like the enemy? How do we boldly defend truth while still showing patience, compassion, and grace? And what does it look like for a young Christian man to surrender his future to wherever God calls him?

Gavin’s goal is simple: to be a walking billboard for Jesus.

He explains how every bag of Jesus Beans Coffee is designed to help people begin their day rooted in God’s Word, while also supporting ministries through a portion of the company’s profits.

This conversation is an encouraging reminder that business can be more than a way to make a living—it can become a platform for ministry, generosity, and pointing others toward Christ.

In Episode 36 of the Longshot Podcast, I had the opportunity to sit down with Brett Miller, co-founder of Miller’s Grove Soap, to hear the story behind his faith, testimony, and the mission that led him to create cleaner, more intentional body-care products.

Brett shares how his walk with Christ has shaped the way he approaches life, family, and business. The conversation also dives into growing concerns surrounding ingredients commonly found in cosmetics and personal-care products, including their potential effects on hormones, reproductive health, and fertility.

But this episode is about more than soap. It’s about stewardship—being intentional with the bodies, families, businesses, and opportunities God has entrusted to us.
