What does it mean to honour our parents ?

It mean the we respect, obey & care for them.

2 Corinthians 8:1-9 - Giving joyfully and thankfully...and knowing God's blessing and giving in our lives

Exodus 7 - Why is this commandment important and what does it mean to break it?

It's important because God is concerned for the glory of His name. We can break it with our lips and our actions.

Romans 12:3-8 - The transformed life results from transformed thinking. If we are to serve in the church as God desires our thinking about ourselves, about the church and about our gifts needs to be transformed.

What does that look like?

Exodus 20:4-6 - At the heart of this commandment is the command to be careful about how we know and understand God, and therefore worship Him. To understand and worship Him as we should, we need to see Him and respond to Him as He reveals Himself in His word and through His Son, & not according to our own imagination.
