Exodus 13:1-16 - The importance of remembering that we are a redeemed people. Important because we are remembering that God loves us, that we need Jesus, that our redemption is complete and secure, that we belong to God and we remember to give thanks.

Romans 9:1-5 - Paul's grief over his fellow Jews. His grief reminds us that knowing Jesus is the most important thing, reminds us that no amount of outward religion makes up for not knowing him and it challenges us to consider our response to those who are cut off from Christ.

Exodus 7:8-13 - The superiority of the God of Aaron's staff and what that mean to us.

Romans 8:28 - The amazing hope of knowing that God works all things for the good of them that love Him and have been called according to His purpose. Do we have that hope ?

Isaiah 59:14-63:6 - Looking at the kingdom of God raises many questions.

Exodus 7:1-7 - We are called to present Christ to the world. This involves going, telling and showing the good news of Jesus. We can go knowing that it's God's work, it's accomplished in His power and He will be patient with us as we seek to fulfil His call.

Are we a new creation ?

We can tell this by our Design, Desires and Direction.

Exodus 4:29-6:12 - How we respond depends on...

the authority we allow God's word to have over our lives;

seeing the purposes of God in the suffering He sends;

accepting Christ's call to follow Him.

Isaiah 49:16 - The heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart.

Looking at the problem...but also the Solution in Jesus.

Exodus 4:18 - Answering God's call to salvation and service means:

- ensuring our lives fit in with God's purposes

- living out God's purposes in His power

- going and making disciples
