Life has a way of blurring our vision, especially when it comes to the people closest to us. We don't stop loving them, but somewhere along the way, we stop seeing them clearly. Like the Israelites rebuilding Jerusalem's walls in Nehemiah 4, external pressures and accumulated relational rubble can distort our perspective. The small, unresolved issues pile up until we're overwhelmed by what feels like insurmountable problems. However, when we ask God to help us see things the way He sees them, something powerful happens. We begin to see the person beyond the problems, their gifts and potential rather than just their struggles. Most people don't need new relationships - they need new vision for the ones they already have.
