Jenny Berg is the Executive Director of The Leadership Council for Nonprofits. Her passion is to help nonprofit agencies become more impactful. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards including Impact 100, a women’s grant making organization which has awarded over $5M back into the community through grants of at least $100,000. She talks about what it means to be a philanthropist and how BOLD (Board Orientation + Leadership Development) is a great start for anyone wanting to get involved with the Cincinnati community.

Elisa Hoffman is the Founder and Executive Director of School Board School. She is a parent, former teacher, and education advocate who has worked for over twenty years on issues of educational equity, including serving a four-year term on the Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education. Sarah is the Executive Director of Hope's Closet, an organization that exists to enrich the lives of families that are impacted by children’s services. She talks about being one of the founders and how the goal of Hope's Closet is to make a difference, break the cycle of brokenness and be a catalyst for change to restore families, when possible. Hope's Closet offers a clothing closet, foster parent support groups, foster parent recruitment and training, and a birthday club program.

Adopt a Book is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization started by 15 year-old twins, Hannah and Alex. These two book-loving twins were inspired to start Adopt a Book in November 2011, when they were just 8 years old after they heard about kids in the Greater Cincinnati area who didn’t own books of their own. To date, they have donated over 136,000 books to over 100 organizations, schools and programs serving children in need.

Liz is the Founder of #KindFlash, a group of volunteers of all ages/backgrounds who care about building connections and community.  Her group coordinates acts of kindness with the intention of improving lives and creating opportunities for people to come together and interact. These events are like a flash mob of kindness.
