Took myself out for a walk

looked into the sun.

Wondering what the world was like

before life began.

Then as night began to fall

sat down on the shore.

Million stars up in the sky,

what are they all for ?

Buildings burning on TV

hope nobody`s dead.

Newsman filming history,

think that`s what he said.

Took a pebble from the sand,

threw it in the sea.

Nothing you can do or say

gonna set you free.

Took myself out for a walk

looked into the sun.

Wondering what the world will be like

when everybody`s gone.
