Sometimes we all need some help just getting started.
If regular Come, Follow Me study feels out of reach right now — the week got away from you, the Old Testament feels far away, or you just don't know where to begin — this is for you. It's a first step, not a destination: one honest walk through the whole lesson, every major point, in under ten minutes, so you can open the scriptures this week with something already in hand. And if you're ready to go deeper, please do — wonderful teachers go much further into these chapters than we can here; let this be the step that gets you to them. In the gospel, something is always better than nothing.
This week: Daniel 1–7 — four teenagers stay faithful at a foreign king's table; three friends stand before a fiery furnace — "our God is able to deliver us — but if not"; Daniel prays at an open window and spends a night with the lions; and an old man's dream of beasts ends with One like the Son of Man receiving an everlasting kingdom.
Chapters
00:00 Daniel 1–7 — "There Is No Other God That Can Deliver"
00:52 Act One — Faithful in a Foreign Court
04:19 Act Two — But If Not
06:52 Act Three — The Son of Man
08:16 The One Verse to Carry — Daniel 3:17–18
One verse to carry: Daniel 3:17–18 — "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up."
Next week (Nov 16–22): Hosea and Joel — God's love for a wandering people.

Sometimes we all need some help just getting started. This channel is a hand up and a starting point: every week, the complete Come, Follow Me lesson — every major point, nothing skipped, in the shortest time it can honestly be given. This week's episode is waiting, and next week's is already posted.
It does not replace your own personal or family study — nothing here does. It exists for the weeks when study would otherwise not happen at all. In the gospel, something is always better than nothing. And there are deeper Come, Follow Me channels than this one — when you're ready for them, follow them instead. Don't land here and park; use this to get started, then move on to the next level.
The videos are made with modern tools, including AI — a voice and artwork directed, reviewed, and approved by Michael. No tool decides what's taught here; the teaching is taken straight from the lesson and the scriptures.

A priest in exile, hundreds of miles from the temple, sees the heavens open beside a river in Babylon. This week walks Ezekiel 1–3; 33–34; 36–37; 47 in three acts: the glory of God appearing among the captives and the watchman called to warn; the Shepherd who goes after His scattered sheep Himself; and the promise of a new heart, dry bones breathing again, and a river that flows from the temple and heals the Dead Sea. One Verse to Carry: Ezekiel 36:26.
This channel exists for people who struggle to do Come, Follow Me at all. In the gospel, something is always better than nothing — use this instead of doing nothing, as a stepping stone to starting study on your own or with your family. And when you're ready for more depth, there are other Come, Follow Me channels that go much further; please go follow them. This channel is a first step, not a destination — don't land here and park; use it as a hand up, and as your journey grows, continue on to the next level of it.

Jeremiah 31–33; 36–39 · Lamentations 1; 3 — Lesson 44, "I Will Turn Their Mourning into Joy"
What do you plant in ground that is still smoking? Jeremiah's answer, given while Babylon's siege ramps rose outside the walls: buy a field. This week walks Jeremiah 31–33 and 36–39, ending in the ashes of Lamentations — where the prophet still insists that God's compassions "fail not" and are "new every morning." One week, three acts: mourning turned to joy, a covenant written on the heart, and hope that survives the fire.

If that's you, this is your stepping stone: use it instead of doing nothing, until you're studying on your own or with your family. In the gospel, something is always better than nothing.

Why this channel exists: Come, Follow Me is meant to be studied on your own and with your family. Nothing on this channel replaces that, and it isn't meant to. But some of us struggle to do Come, Follow Me at all. The week gets away from us, and it ends with nothing. If that's where you are, this channel is for you: the complete week's lesson — every major point, nothing skipped — in the shortest time it can honestly be given. Use it instead of doing nothing. Let it be a stepping stone — something that helps you begin, until you're studying on your own or with your family. In the gospel, something is always better than nothing.
There are other Come, Follow Me channels with far more depth than this one, and when you're ready for that, I encourage you to go and follow them instead of me. These videos are intentionally as short as possible. This channel is a first step, not a destination — please don't land here and park. Use it as a hand up, from doing nothing to doing something, and as your journey grows, continue on to the next level of it.
What do you do when God hands you an assignment you are sure you cannot do?
