Karen Arnold turns the big 1-8 and boy oh boy has she made it pretty clear to everyone in the Arnold household especially dear old dad Jack that she’s an adult now and doesn’t want a party or a cake or even presents in S3E22 Daddy’s Little Girl which aired on May 8, 1990.

In this episode when Jack finds dry rot in the house, the mention of moving out gets Kevin worried. But after those worries a squashed, Jack lets it slip out that the Coopers are moving away instead. In order to secure their relationship, Kevin buys Winnie a ring, but Winnie decides that it's best to face the inevitable and just break up. Kevin decides to attend Karen's graduation from high school instead of watching Winnie leave.
