Looking

Listen Later

Looking

Looking round but feeling square, seems I just don’t fit

anywhere

You jam me into a shape that suits you well as you say you

care

Looking up yet I’m feeling down, I’m no king, it’s just a

phony crown

Nothing to rule I just need some faced paint cause I feel

like a clown

Where are the rest of our days? Have I missed them or are

they up a ways?

Loving comes, but never too long, tell me how long till it

finally stays?

Looking out, but I keep it all in, shouldn’t start, if you

don’t know where to begin

Sitting on the front porch a dog on either side humming to

myself as I grin

Looking happy, but I’m really going mad, relaxing sunsets

are something I’ve never had

Sharing tomorrow’s, enjoying today’s, dreams that I hope

will make me glad

Looking to the Heavens, feeling like hell, am I lost in love

or under your spell?

Things get so crazy till I hold you; you know sometimes I

can’t even tell

Where are the rest of our days? Have I missed them or are

they up a ways?

Loving comes, but never too long, tell me how long till it

finally stays?

Looking for the day it stays
