Looking Forward Reaching Back

Elder Demetrius A. Greer preaches "Praise My Pity Away."

Self-pity keeps your eyes on your problems. Praise lifts your eyes to God. When Paul and Silas chose worship instead of worry, their chains fell off, doors flew open, and someone else found salvation. Don't let your pain have the last word—praise your pity away.

Elder Demetrius A. Greer preaches "God's Not Done."

Don't judge God's work by what you see today. The same God who began a good work in you has not abandoned His plan. Your story is still being written, your faith is still growing, and your best chapters are still ahead. God is not finished with you yet.

Elder Demetrius A. Greer preaches "Anchored."

The storms of life are inevitable, but drifting doesn't have to be. Our hope is not anchored in our feelings, our finances, or our circumstances—it is anchored in the unchanging promises of God through Jesus Christ. When your soul is anchored in Him, you can stand firm even when the winds are strong.

Joy Ahead of Schedule

Luke 1:39–45

Preacher: Rev. Demetrius A. Greer
Church: Greater St. Paul AME Church (Morgantown, WV)

What if joy doesn’t wait for everything to be finished?

In this Advent message, Joy Ahead of Schedule, we step into the hill country where Mary meets Elizabeth—and before Jesus is born, before a miracle is seen, before a promise is fully explained, joy breaks loose. An unborn prophet leaps, a waiting mother rejoices, and the Holy Spirit fills the house.

This sermon reminds us that Christian joy is not manufactured or delayed—it is Spirit-born, sound-triggered, and Savior-centered. Joy can move before the blessing breaks forth. Joy can leap while the night is still long. And joy can sustain us as we wait for Christ’s coming again.

If you’re waiting… if you’re weary… if you’re tempted to postpone praise until things settle—this message is for you.

Before the blessing breaks forth, joy breaks loose.

If this blesses you, like, share, and subscribe to support the ministry.
