On Day 5 of our 12 Days of Christmas teaching series, we reflect on Joseph’s role in the Christmas story. Joseph was a good man—compassionate, just, and obedient. When he discovered Mary was pregnant, he sought to protect her dignity, even as he wrestled with doubt. But when God sent an angel to reveal His greater plan, Joseph chose faith and courage, embracing his role as the earthly father of Jesus Christ.
Joseph’s story challenges us, especially as men, to ask: Do we have what it takes to be spiritual leaders and earthly fathers, creating homes where Christ can dwell? Are we building our lives and households on the foundation of faith, humility, and obedience? Let Joseph’s example inspire us to trust God’s promises, step into His plan, and create spaces where His presence can thrive.
