In this episode I review the second episode of Star Trek: Picard.
We start by dissecting the plot, then we have quick questions and end with a discussion of the good things from the show.
My thoughts on the first episode of the new Picard series. First I list the bad, and then the good.

In this solo episode I try to update the viewing order of Star Trek TNG and DS9 into an episode order that would fit in the style of modern serialised TV shows. This means removing a lot of the singular episodes and focusing solely on larger story arcs, most of them political much in the style of Game of Thrones.
The side effect of doing this is to make the huge library of episodes easier to deal with, bringing new viewers to the show if a condensed watch order is seen as appealing or for existing Trek fans to relive the most momentous events in a prescribed watch order tying various events closer together.
In this episode we celebrate the release of Reservoir Dogs which came out 27 years ago this month. So if you have a copy of the movie, and want to relive Quentin’s first masterpiece then do so with me sitting beside you in a not creepy way. I talk about the importance of Mr Blue, Tarantino’s framing, the long takes and how it felt to watch it as a child compared to now.
See you in the next episode.

In this episode I sit down and quickly reflect and review on a purchase I just made as the title suggests. I share my hesitations and desires, which overall are tempered by actually owning an Apple Watch vs previously not.
In this episode we talk about Stranger Things and along the way only talk about other 80’s franchises. We also touch on Star Trek’s new series: Picard, Dark Crystal, Maverick the sequel to Top Gun.
The last episode dedicated to the biggest movie of the decade. In this episode Adam and myself breakdown and discuss the logistics of all these characters in one climatic endings and a large chunk of the gender political bullshit surrounding Endgame and discuss the recent Phase 4 announcements at ComicCon 2019.
In this final breakdown of the major characters from the original 6 Avengers, we discuss Thor and Captain America’s journey since Phase 1. I figured out how to do chapters, so check you podcast app in case you want to get to the meat of our discussion!
