Thanks to Fhazee for delivering is Guest Mix...Gionata Di Manno, aka Fhazee, born in Latina on 11.11.1979 approaches in the music world in the late 90s he, looking out the electronic music during his stay in Australia and Scotland where he performed in clubs.

On his return, is greater interest in the production, he graduated from the Saint Louis College Course of Electronic Music and later attended training courses at various recording studios.

His style is initially minimal where it reaches sometimes places in the standings on the Beatport Top 100, soon decided to move to Techno and Tech-house style.

He continues to produce and perform in some places of the local area, also teaches courses in electronic music at the study “Stazione Musica” in Terracina.

Morning Coffee and Techno - Beats that sound like hammers on stone announce the beginning of this track, setting out on an exploration that is not afraid to look for new and fascinating sounds. Smashing drum effects leap into the beat over an increasingly rubberized sound plays across the background, which only escalates to an even faster chiming effect. A metallic shuddering comes in again and again, coupled with alien sounds that then dig into depths that feel beneath the ground itself as the bass shudders through the listener. Strange, inventive, and always surprising, this track marks a perfect opener to a boundary-pushing collection.

Disharmonic - Upbeat drum loops rise like a tide over the groundwork of deep bass rhythms here. Clif Jack throws out the usual high hat treatment here, taking it slowly with the tinny beats above sounds of occasional devastation in the background. The track opens an environment where anything is possible: rapid-fire strafing, knocking on a door, otherworldly vocals that wander between voices and effects. The beat stays up tempo the entire time, all while having fun with the darker elements without allowing it to take over completely.

Disharmonic (Remix) - Synthesized clapping, partnered with a deep hammering, grow over a background that rises like a growl at the intro on this track, all before what sounds like electronic snakes hiss for a moment, then fall away to haunting flurries of sharp-edged sweeps that set up the entrance of a very danceable tempo. The song never ceases to allow new forays into territories that come off like roars, waves of static, and sounds that can only be described as truly alien. The rhythm barrels through one surprise after another all the way to the end, showing varieties that make this track feel like a lesson on different ways to keep the listener on their toes.

Morning Coffee and Techno (Re-edit) - The beat is set by what sounds like a wooden ping pong ball, establishing itself quickly above a playful, almost jungle-inspired bass to build the rest of the song off of. Chattering instrumentals pop up again and again, zipping in and out of darkly looming effects that inject new depths to the song. This track never sits still, bringing in all kinds of bizarre bubbling effects and tunneling echoes, never losing a likability that is sure to bring many repeated plays.

On this fresh new Guest Mix Loose Records is proud to host on Japanese Duo DRUNKEN KONG...the project of D. Singh and DJ Kyoko. In 2010, the two started their project when one day, they suddenly decided to make a track together.  Since then Drunken Kong focuses on experimenting with different styles of techno. Both members, coming from different musical backgrounds, have put their minds and energy in creating uplifting music. 

Since the first gig of Drunken Kong at the end of 2011, they have been constantly active in the Tokyo techno scene, playing in major Tokyo clubs such as Womb, Ageha, and Air.  From then on, they have also been expanding their gigs to other regions of Japan and Asia.

In early 2012, they successfully released their first EP on Rome based label Beenoise records.  From then, they have also released on labels such as London based Twisted Beats and Berlin based, Parlez Music.  The duo have also been active with the domestic labels as well, releasing an EP from Shin Nishimura`s Plus Records and various tracks from Session Trax of Womb.  Their recent release from Unity Record has gained support from very successful artist such as Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Bart Skils and more.  Their release, "Beat It" has also been played by Adam Beyer in his famous Drumcode Radio #207.

 

D.Singh is a unique mix of Indian and Japanese. Studying in an audio engineering school in Los Angeles, he has primarily focused on making up- tempo music and started his DJ career when he moved back to Japan in 2008. Being influenced by the music culture of Japan, D. Singh created his solo project in 2009 named Noncitizen. Since then he had been playing at various parties in Tokyo and other parts of Japan.   He successfully released his first track from D-Formation`s Beatfreak Recordings.

 

DJ Kyoko started her DJ career in 1995 playing reggae and then moved onto playing progressive house and techno.  In 2001, she moved her career to becoming a trance DJ, which lead her successfully in the international scene, playing in various countries (US, Israel, China, Korea etc) and also giving her the opportunity to play in the Love Parade as the first female DJ.  

 

The two have also played alongside internationally top techno artists such as Mauro Picotto, Speedy J, Gabriel Ananda, Gary Beck and recently with Axel Karakasis and D-Unity.  While constantly loving and being inspired by the music, Drunken Kong constantly expands their possibilities while maintaining their quality work.  With their powerful DJ styles and charisma, the two are able to constantly amuse the audience and keep the dance floor going while expanding their ideas and skills to the next level.

We can catch “Ultracurve” in another wave, remixed by Krenzlin, German Artist, resident at Tresor, who’s delivering a deeper underground version, with a cool energetic Detroit Techno Style. Fat kick and greatful old drum elements fused with a glorius synth pattern.
