On today's episode of Talk 59, Jason Fridge sits down and talks with Sophomore Dom Petruzzeli, one of our esteemed student leaders on campus who is involved nearly everywhere. We touch on his role as the national representative for the Atlantic East Conference Student Athlete Advisory Committee, some of the major discussions happening at the national level, and preview a couple of big events happening on campus this semester.
We then welcome one of our staff writers for The Loquitur Brooke Protesto who talks about her first month as a journalist in our newsroom. We dive into her most recent article talking about nursing student athletes who had to transfer to Eastern to take classes but are still competing on the field as Cavaliers. She also previews another feature story she’s working on looking at one of our men’s soccer student athletes who received an Atlantic East Medal of Inspiration over the summer.
