“Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD? And do I not
loathe those who rise up against you? I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies.”
How should Christians deal with the intense emotions we
might feel against unrighteousness in the world? How should it affect our prayer life? Is it okay to pray
against certain people?
Today we cover “imprecatory” psalms, prayers which ask God
to bring his vengeance down upon the wicked. We explore if these types of prayers still have a place for the Christian today.
