It may be the hardest hurdle to clear in the life of any True Believer. What's that? It's not just the scriptural passage or the concept, it's much, much more than that. It's the ongoing practice of, "Lord, Thy will be done". It's the daily, moment by moment, application of trusting that the Lord is in control and that the most High is right with you during the lowest of the low times. 

It's not lip service either. It really can't be faked--not for long, and certainly not as far as God is concerned. God sees the truth. A life of "Lord, Thy will be done" is a matter of accepting that situations are not totally by your will--regardless to how so-called "positive" you may try to be. As with the examples within this song, the Walk-by-faith Believer must embrace surrender to God's divine will.
