Traditional Hymn
1 Body, Spirit, Lord, Faith, Baptism, God, Father of All
The Lord is One.
What are the "all things" to which Scripture refers when saying I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me? Can you sprout wings and fly? Can everyone become a world leader? Can you accurately determine the number of grains of sand there are on earth? Can you become a world-renown pianist without ever touching a piano? So then, what do you think that passage means when rightly divided or correctly interpreted?
There is a river of goodness awaiting faithful True Believers of Messiah Jesus.
This Scriptural song is entitled, "Restore". If not here and now on this earth, then elsewhere and later, losses are due to be restored.
It may be the hardest hurdle to clear in the life of any True Believer. What's that? It's not just the scriptural passage or the concept, it's much, much more than that. It's the ongoing practice of, "Lord, Thy will be done". It's the daily, moment by moment, application of trusting that the Lord is in control and that the most High is right with you during the lowest of the low times.
It's not lip service either. It really can't be faked--not for long, and certainly not as far as God is concerned. God sees the truth. A life of "Lord, Thy will be done" is a matter of accepting that situations are not totally by your will--regardless to how so-called "positive" you may try to be. As with the examples within this song, the Walk-by-faith Believer must embrace surrender to God's divine will.
The song is, "Just A Little Talk With Jesus". This classic Christian-based song is a favorite.
Why Did I Create An Audio About Gaming?
To be as brief as possible, it is because I thought others, even Believers, might benefit from information about gaming. You see, only a few months ago, I began playing 2 online games regularly. Oh, I've played a few, on and off, for years, but they were off-line and never caused me any concern. It wasn't until I began the 2 online that I found it hard to stop playing. One was easier to lose interest in because I quickly discovered it was totally unfair to different players, was highly geared to make the developers real money (while selling players fake money), and had a very predictable pattern. On the other hand, the 2nd game, which was very similar to the first, kept my attention longer, I think, because there was far more to do and I even started my own group.
The problem was that I found myself too involved in the game and when I said I would not play, I played. That was a clear sign to me that I was facing trouble. Actually, it was in the person who started me on the games where I initially saw troubling signs. But, of course, I didn't think it could happen to me. First, I knew I wouldn't spend real money on a game I could never own and that could be discontinued at any time without notice. I knew I did not want to pay to get a "pass" or "ticket" just to get access to better prizes. I saw straight through the con game of the game con.
But, at some point, it happened. Well, I still never spent real money for fake, but I was beginning to care a lot more than I should have. So I thought I should find out what may be happening with me concerning games. I saw myself in a lot of what was being said. Gaming really can become an addiction and it just should not be so, especially, in my opinion, for a Believer. I KNOW better.
So, that goes to show you, if nothing else, that possibly anyone, even those of us who tell ourselves we're beyond some temptations, can also become tripped up and even trapped. Believers really must be on guard because something a seemingly harmless as an online game (the prelude to more serious gambling), can become a problem.
