The podcast that discusses all things vampiric continues the interesting irregular series, 'Cainite Conversations', where The Lore By Night Podcast Guy brings in a member of the TTRPG community and talks about all things TTRPG and everything else in between.
In this episode, The Lore By Night Podcast Guy invites Steffie de Vaan of The Fated into his domain. Steffie is an award-winning author and developer who has worked on several World and Chronicles of Darkness books including, but not limited to "Cults of The Blood Gods", "Anarch (Vampire: the Masquerade 5th Edition)", "Fall of London" "Vampire: The Dark Ages 20th Anniversary Edition", "Beckett's Jyhad Diary", "Changeling: The Lost Second Edition" & "Promethean: The Created Second Edition". She also worked on Uncaged Goddess, City of Flesh and a whole host of others!
Together, they discuss primarily Steffie's latest work, "WITCH: Fated Souls 2e" with Angry Hamster Publishing which is going through their Kickstarter. WITCH: Fated Souls is a dark, modern fantasy, tabletop role-playing game that centres around the Fated, men and women who have answered the question above with yes. The Fated have sold their soul to a demon and received strange new magical powers in return. Those powers are the key to a world hidden within our own, it has its own rules and is governed by an ancient Council.
We learn about the different types of daemons and how they work mechanically in the game, the basics of playing "WITCH: Fated Souls 2e", how magic and rituals work, the strange Alchemy Realm and the importance of consent and diversity in TTRPGs, particularly that of the horror genre so consensual horror doesn't become unsolicited trauma.

In which the Diva in question discusses all things vampirically romantic, sensual and lustful yet again, remembering those rude Tremere and beautiful bloodlines.
