The Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival continues through September sixth at the Old Zoo. This season includes Coriolanus and The Comedy of Errors, with performances held in the dell while permanent-stage construction continues. Admission remains free, but the smaller location requires reservations, and visitors should bring appropriate ground seating for the outdoor production. Transportation and parking for the Griffith Park Shakespeare festival can shape the outing as much as the program, especially when several activities or a large crowd share the same area.

The value of the Sublime exhibition is its specific local experience, so practical planning is the best way to avoid missing the part that prompted the trip.

CatVideoFest is screening at Vidiots in Eagle Rock through September sixth. The seventy-minute compilation moves internet cat videos onto the theater's MUBI Microcinema screen, with ticket proceeds supporting local cat charities and shelters. Viewers should confirm screening time because the program has several showings rather than operating as a continuous gallery installation. If plans for CatVideoFest change, the organizer or Vidiots will be the best source for cancellations, moved locations, ticket updates and revised entry instructions.
