Each new season of life brings with it the death of another season.

And it’s no different with following Jesus.

There’s no version of following Jesus that doesn’t involve what He called:

“Taking up your cross.”

Dying to yourself is a major part of the journey with Jesus.

And it doesn’t just take place at the beginning of the journey.

It takes place each day.

No matter how long you’ve been following Him.

But, remember this:

The death of yourself in Christ is the resurrection of His life and Spirit within you.
