Grief. It can consume us after a death, accident, financial crisis, or illness. How do we find hope in times of loss? This series features stories from Agri families who have endured loss and heartache and experienced the hope that only Christ can bring.
Mardon Layne's father struggled with depression in a time when treatment options were limited and the stigma of mental health was high. After his death from suicide, Mardon had to handle the farm and finances while dealing with overwhelming grief. His story is one that will bring comfort and encouragement to any who are hurting and are not sure how they will walk through their loss.
If you or someone you know are struggling with suicidal thoughts or ideation, please call 911 or contact the National Suicide Prevention Line at 800-273-TALK in the U.S. For Canada, please call 833-456-4566.
