Be a solution-oriented individual, not a problem-oriented individual. When a problem or issue arises, approach it with a mindset that you are looking for a solution, not simply bringing a problem to the table. Being solution-oriented immediately adds value to any team because anyone can bring problems to the table but the more proficient problem-solvers bring solutions and steps towards a solution to the table.

This episode talks about the box, the mold, the "correct" way we have been told to live our lives, and what I have to say about that. If your profession, job, career, or organization is instructing you to act in a way that does not line up with your values, find a new one. Stand up for what is right and don’t fold under the mob mentality or the bystander effect. Shoot for the stars, land on the moon. Dream big, but while you’re building your dream, think about whether or not you are providing value to other human beings without tearing down other dreams and human beings around you. Take the box, the mold, the picture-perfect citizen, the white picket fence “American dream”, throw it away and create your own destiny.

Burning bridges is oftentimes an unproductive decision to make. When people want to be a part of your life, allow them in, and help them grow as human beings. Understand that everyone plays a part in the bigger picture of your life and in your organization.

Today's episode will talk about the importance and ramifications of creating successful habits. It's the small wins that lead to large victories in life, so get rid of your habits that aren't driving you towards success and start practicing habits that will help you achieve your goals. Put your best foot forward on every task you perform and prove it to yourself, not others.

Asking good questions in conversation provides more substance than giving someone answers. When someone approaches you with a problem, ask questions to guide them to make their own conclusions, and assist them in practicing self-awareness.
