When 'someone' begins extracting their energies out of a job, a relationship, an environment or any other place or person where it has 'been' then there is a loss to that foundational energy that had been built.

There is ethics in how that extraction should be done in order to protect the ecology as that ecology loses its foundation to return to an original space of source energy.
