Weight loss and binge eating disorder are pretty much at opposite ends of a spectrum.
One involves the restriction of food (whatever diet or eating plan you follow), and the other involves the loss of that conscious control over food intake.
Having said that, I was able to actually LOSE weight while still being prone to binges and am near the lightest I have been in my adult life.
