Fi: Helsinki oli kylmä ja hiljainen.
En: Helsinki was cold and quiet.

Fi: Lumi peitti kaiken.
En: Snow covered everything.

Fi: Vanhat kerrostalot seisoivat kuin aaveet kujien varrella.
En: Old apartment buildings stood like ghosts along the alleys.

Fi: Aino kulki uupuneena, mutta päättäväisenä.
