Our final episode of season 2 is with an award-winning healthcare innovator who had two patents. She is the Co-Founder of Fine Treatment. Fine Treatment is an R&D and medical devices company propelling innovation in healthcare along the three vectors. Ariana is an alumna of the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, and the London School of Economics and she strives to extend the human healthspan and improve the quality of life of people with chronic health conditions. 

In today's episode, we had the pleasure of speaking with an Oxford local and wellbeing practitioner, Deborah Humphrey. She has over 30 years of professional experience in the mental health, nursing, and education sectors which allowed her to start up her own business ‘The Wellbeing Story’. Deborah talks us through her journey and gives us a better understanding of The Wellbeing Story and its importance to her.

Today’s guest is Oxford Brookes’ former student ambassador, mentor, and Enterprise Champion, Tina Poletto, founder of Studey. Having graduated from our Bloom programme for female entrepreneurs, Tina was later on awarded funding on the Enterprise Support Fuel programme to take her business to the next level. Her mission is to support international students applying, settling in, and getting the most of their university experience abroad.

Having launched Studey in 2019, Tina recognised a higher rate of success in their applications thanks to the care and support provided by her business. Studey has standardised and simplified the process for international students going into higher education. Since launching, Tina has partnered with Oxford Brookes, UCAS, and British Council, to name a few.
