In 1948, MV Empire Windursh docked at Tilbury, with over 400 migrants on board. These migrants - who have come to be known as the Windrush Generation - moved to the UK to help address the labour shortage following WWII. Niamh Quille, a lawyer/researcher, joins Jason to discuss the timeline of events that have lead to the present-day scandal, which has seen many of the Windrush Generation either deported or facing deportation.
