Scott Alcroft is a Scottish author who hails from Saltcoats, North Ayrshire. After moving around Europe whilst serving in the armed forces, Scott settled in the south of Spain and decided to begin turning his life experiences into stories. Scott has written five books so far including The Bunnet and Factory Girls. Scott joins Jason ahead of the release of his sixth book With Change Comes Consequences.

Three years ago, Sharne Wood was diagnosed with the blood disorder Aplastic Anaemia. Blood disorders like Aplastic Anaemia leave the body immunocompromised. Therefore, when the COVID-19 pandemic came around, it posed a clear danger to Sharne's health.

Sharne speaks to Jason about her life with Aplastic Anaemia from when she was diagnosed to the present day. She speaks about her need to shield even as restrictions ease off as the risk to her is simply too high. Sharne has been raising award for blood disorders with the Anthony Nolan group, which we also discuss.
