Lt: Pavasario rytas, saulė dar tik kybojo virš medžių, užliedama našlaitės sodą švelniu švytėjimu.
En: A spring morning, the sun was just hanging above the trees, bathing the violet garden in a gentle glow.

Lt: Orphanatorių Vilnijajo pašonėje stovėjo senas, bet jaukiai tvarkingas pastatas.
En: The orphanage near Vilnijajo stood an old, yet cozily neat building.

Lt: Visi vaikai šurmuliavo kieme, žaidė, linksmėjo.
En: All the children were bustling in the yard, playing, having fun.
