Cs: Sumava byla krásná.
En: The Šumava was beautiful.

Cs: Lesy se tyčily vysoko do nebe, peřina sněhu zakrývala cesty a stromy.
En: Forests towered high into the sky, a blanket of snow covered the paths and trees.

Cs: Viktor a Lenka se vydali na tradiční novoroční výlet.
En: Viktor and Lenka set out on their traditional New Year's trip.

Cs: Byla to rodinná tradice, ale letos se zdála jiná.
En: It was a family tradition, but this year it felt different.

Cs: Lenka se zvědavě dívala kolem sebe, ale vypadala trochu ztracená.
En: Lenka looked around curiously but seemed a little lost.

Cs: Přemýšlela o svých přátelích, kteří oslavovali doma ve městě.
