Over 2,000 years ago, the world was turned Upside Down by the life, death and resurrection of Yeshua. Believe in Him or not, no one has affected the world more than Jesus. It is common knowledge that Yeshua was Jewish. It is also common knowledge that His ministry took place in the nation of Israel. What gets lost in translation is the fact that all of his disciples were Jewish, and all of their initial ministry took place in the land of Israel. The book of Acts, which follows the four Gospels in the New Testament, tells the story of how God used these young Jewish men to reach thousands of Jews and Gentiles with the message of Yeshua the Messiah. They were Jews who turned Israel Upside Down with their radical faith in the God-man from Nazareth. Every person who believes in Jesus in the world today owes their faith to these twelve Jewish men and their unwavering commitment to make Yeshua known to the nation of Israel and to the entire world!
This 6 part series for the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot, focuses on Acts chapters 1 - 8 and the story of how a small group of Jews changed the world and turned it Upside Down.
