The law book of the Old testament opens with how to be made right rather than what is wrong! In this vain of thought, we study how the burnt offering leads us to understand the meaning of sacrifice as well as points us to the ultimate sacrifice!

When is it time to end a relationship or is there ever time? These questions and more we seek to answer from God's word!

Does God care who we love? If so, what should we look for?

The demands of following Jesus extend even into our friendships. Friend is a common word, but we must uncover what is reuired. TO be a christian friend, we are called to accept others, care for others, and sacrifice for others. But in doing so, we are accepted, cared for, and sacrificed on behalf of because friendship is a two way street.

In the moment of crisis, Ruth clings to Naomi. We too are called to cling to Jesus - following him where ever he leads.

As ones who have been reset, we have a role in the reset of others. Boaz provides an example to us of how we can help in the reset of others.

Resetting causes great loss, but the gain is worth it! Ruth loses everything, but God works to bless her more than she could have imagined! Trusting in Christ will cause a loss, but the gain is greater!

To reset is to start over, wipe clean, erase all data. God offers us, sinners, vile, evil people, a chance to reset. He has performed the work, we must simply believe that it will work. And following his reset, it changes how our life operates – in line with how he has called us to live! A reset will cause loss, what you have to get to is that the gain is worth it!

Is God still working? Or has he stood us up?

The questions inside us are similar to those of Ancient Israel as their waiting was growing thin. 400 years of silence was tough. God breaks the silence in an unexpected way- through an unexpected announcement. In the angel's visit to Mary, we are given an example to how we are to wait and respond to God.Mary moves us from "How can it be? to "Let it be"!
