  • S1 Ep11: Matt Mordvanec - Mattsquatch Presents Pt. 2
In this second part of our show with Matt we examine some of the ways in which common sense, fragmented and democratized media influence the conversation and community. We discuss the cost of pursuing the truth and some of the social norms that contribute to some of the stigmas surrounding paranormal phenomena.

We continue on the topic of Antarctica, pole shift, and the Nazi history there. We also delve a little bit deeper and explore some areas many don’t tread. Keep in mind this is an organic conversation less structured than some other shows we’ve done.

Make sure to check out Part I of the interview with Matt.

Dr. Jeff Meldrum is a Full Professor of Anatomy & Anthropology at Idaho State University (since 1993). He teaches human anatomy in the graduate health professions programs. His research encompasses questions of vertebrate evolutionary morphology generally, primate locomotor adaptations more particularly, and especially the emergence of modern human bipedalism. His co-edited volume, From Biped to Strider: the Emergence of Modern Human Walking, Running, and Resource Transport, proposes a more recent innovation of modern striding gait than previously assumed. His interest in the footprints attributed to Sasquatch was piqued when he examined a set of 15-inch tracks in Washington, in 1996.

Now his lab houses well over 300 footprint casts attributed to this mystery hominid. He conducts collaborative laboratory and field research throughout North America, and the world (e.g. China, Russia), and has spoken about his findings in numerous popular and professional publications, interviews, television and radio appearances, public and professional presentations. He is the author of Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science (Tom Doherty Publishers), which explores his and other scientists’ evaluations of the contemporary evidence, and also affords deference to tribal people’s traditional knowledge of this subject. He has also published two field guides, one focusing on Sasquatch, the second casting the net more broadly to consider the potential of relict hominids around the world (Paradise Cay Publishing). He is editor-in-chief of the scholarly refereed journal, The Relict Hominoid Inquiry.

  • S1 Ep6: Brien Foerster - Hidden Inca Tours
Brien Foerster was born in Rochester, Minnesota, U.S.A. but grew up on the west coast of Canada. At age 11, he became fascinated with the Native art of the Haida native people and began carving totem poles, and other related art forms, learning from Native teachers. After completing an Honours Bachelor Of Science degree, Brien decided to take up carving and sculpture full time, at the age of 25.

In 1995 he moved to Maui, Hawaii, and was hired as assistant project manager for the building of the 62-foot double hull sailing canoe (ancestor of the modern day catamaran) Mo’okiha O Pi’ilani ( Sacred Lizard That Pierces The Heavens ) and the restoration of the famous Mo’olele sailing canoe. This project lasted 2 years.

There, having learned how to make Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddles from master carver Keola Sequiera, he started an online outrigger paddle business, which flourished internationally.

Peru became his next major area of interest. The study of the Inca culture led to his writing a book, A Brief History Of The Incas which is available on this site, and is now the assistant director of the Paracas History Museum in Paracas, south of Lima. He is also assisting the municipality of Paracas to improve the number of foreign tourists that visit, as well as is fundamental in expanding tourism in general, especially as regards showing all visitors the 10,000 years of human occupation of this area, through tours of major and minor archaeological sites.

Other projects, which will result in published books, include one about the ancient history of Hawaii, the mysterious stone monuments of Peru that predate the Inca, and the search for the lost continent of Mu. This will require combining all that he has learned so far, with trips to New Zealand (Aotearoa), Hawaii, and Easter island (Rapanui.)

He is the author of 8 books, 4 appearances on Ancient Aliens, Season 3, numerous radio interviews, and has been a guest lecturer on Contact In The Desert. His YouTube Channel, as of this writing, has surpassed 53 million views. Brien currently resides in Peru with his wife.
