Lv: Latgale pavasara rītā, kad ezera krasti bija klāti ar zaļiem niedru un krāsainiem savvaļas ziediem, Dainis devās pie ezera ar savu zvejas kātu.
En: One spring morning in Latgale, when the lake shores were covered with green reeds and colorful wildflowers, Dainis headed to the lake with his fishing rod.

Lv: Viņam patika rīti, kad visa daba pamodās un viss šķita iespējams.
En: He liked mornings when all of nature woke up, and everything seemed possible.

Lv: Bet šorīt viņš šķita uzvilkts vairāk nekā parasti, jo Maija bija atbraukusi uz ciemos, lai kopā svinētu Mātes dienu.
En: But this morning he was more excited than usual because Maija had come to visit to celebrate Mother's Day together.
